Case Study 3: Respiratory Health Tracking

A respiratory medtech manufacturer envisioned developing a point of care and at home non-invasive test system to allow physicians, patients and payers to track and manage respiratory conditions. The firm was interested in building a digital ecosystem with decision support and connectivity to biometric devices that delivered 1) patient and practice metrics, 2) patient health tracking and education, and 3) predictive analytics and insights.

Another respiratory therapy company wanted to track symptoms and lung training progress more accurately and share data with healthcare providers for better decision-making. The system was a breathing trainer and symptom tracker with a mobile game controller that children interacted with to adhere to therapy.
